Few questions about 1.0.8/1.0.16

I just recently upgraded from 0.99.12 and have few problems/questions:

1. I can't play ordinary music CD using Music Library with PVRX2, but I can with GBPVR! It's the same with both versions. Why? MP3 files stored on the computer can play.

2. Computer doesn't wake up for recording with 1.0.16 even after applying the patch. I read the thread about it as well. Though, I didn't have time to experiment - may be I should repeat whole procedure more carefully. But, if there is no big difference between versions, I may stick for a while with 1.0.8.
Recording is the main thing to me in GBPVR. I had frequent troubles with recordings quality with 0.99.12. It may be up to my hardware... but how come sometimes it works just fine, sometimes I had troubles for a few minutes... or even more!?

3. Search Guide with PVRX2 - I read about pressing F1 twice or Guide on remote. But, will it be included in the menu?

4. Music Player Plugin - the only plugin I use other then original ones. I like it, so question is will (and when) it be available?

I don't think it should make any difference between both version as the RecordingService is the same for both of them. Have you tried rebooting your system; is sounds too simple to be true, but for me it works quite often.

I think we'll just have to accept those things as a fact of life. It happens on occasion to all of us, although I have a gnawing feeling that it happens more often on Windows systems .

I remember reading somehwere that it will be in a next release (I think it was the PVRX2 not very mouse-friendly thread).

Yes, but I don't have such a problem when recording with other sofware (i.e. original from card supplier).
But GBPVR provides EPG update for my country (Croatia) and some other nice features, which that other software does not offer (EPG update is not user configurable and doesn't work in Croatia).


Anyone with suggestion about playing music CD with PVRX2?

Sorry, there is no CD playback in PVRX2 at this stage.
