OK, I got a laserdisk of Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder concert at a yard sale. It looks great.
I'm not aware that any release has been planned for a DVD version of this.
Oh yah guess I need to find a laser disk player. I read on wikipedia that different models of player had markedly different supported features- surround, dolby, overall quality. any suggestions? Anyone in SE Michigan with a setup?
Thanks for advice; I've never done the laser disk thing. This could be a case where a great yard sale buy makes me spend extra afterwards. But it would be fun to see this particular item from LD with good sound instead of VHS, and to use my fiar use rights to make a DVD. The players have s-video and component out; any way to keep the surround field?
