No video for 1280x720 or 1920x1088 feeds

I have a ATI Wonder 650 which I have been using with WatchHdtv. I am trying to switch to gbpvr since I want to get EPG working. However, I only get video on three channels that watchhdtv reports as 704x480. The big 3 networks report as either 1280x720 or 1920x1088. For those I get audio but no video.

The channel scan in config is able to display all channels. I am at a loss for why "big" channels don't display. I have a Abit NF-M2 Nview which has the nvidia 6150 embedded video. I have the latest drivers, which seem to work well with watchhdrv.

Anyone have a clue what could be wrong? I have pvrx2 and filtercheck log files attached; hope that helps.

What video (and audio) decoders do you have selected on the playback tab of the config app? Best to not rely on the 'system default' setting since this can give unpredicateable results.

I can see its using three decoders (well two decoders and a transform filter) that I've never seen any one elses logs, so these would the potential problem candidates.

Ah. I forced it to ATI MPEG Video and CyberLink Audio and it works now. 1920x1088 is choppier than it is with Watchhdtv, though. I haven't played with settings much to see if I can get it smoother, though.

Those other decoders don't work with Watchhdtv either, but it picks the above ones by default, I think.

Try running PVRX2.exe with the '-fse' command line parameter to see if its less choppy.
