HI,

I posted this yesterday not sure if you noticed it Smile

just loaded up 6.7 beta and I'm seeing the following problems

I am running pvrx2 1.0.16 on an MVP using mvallends dongle.bin dated 24th August.

Version 6.7 still does not remember the screen it was on when the mvp screensaver kicks in, it always seems to revert to the Library screen.

If you delete a track using the red record button on the remote, from a playlist generated from the library using the red button, it is skipped when playing but is not removed from the playlist displayed on screen and the displayed album art is then wrong by one track.

You can fix this by scrolling to the end of the playlist and pressing "ok" on the remote on the last track of the playlist, which then starts that track playing and gets the next set of random tracks [and presumably re-builds the current playlist] then scroll back through the playlist to where you where and press "ok" on the remote again to re-select the track which had the wrong artwork.

Hmm, just realised where we may have a difference...the gbpvr.exe that comes with pvrx2 1.0.16 must be different and tag dlls from the common directory, where your one does not seem to.

Not sure how i can test that since all my machines are now 1.0.16.

One thing you could try and putting the interfaces.dll, taglib-sharp and ultraid3 into the gbpvr directory since I think this is how the older version used to work.

Let me know how that goes for you.

Sorry I did but didn't reply since I was trying to help pz1 who seemed to have a more fundamental error.

Thanks for the feed back, and I'll look at sorting those out. I think I've had them always reverting to th elibrary screen for many versions...but i'll look at trying to add that now that I seemed to have the readers stablised... And I'll check out that other error you posted....cheers.

Sorry, no effect. I will revert to to a previous version, and rebuild my machine before trying again. Thanks for the efforts.

Any reason you dont move to 1.0.16 and use the gbpvr from that, I thought it was the same as 99.13?

I might move to 1.0.16. Major reason was absence of NET radio, but it seems there is now some kludge for it. May be I just wait for the next release. But first I have to rebuild my machine for which I hardly have the time right now.

NetRadio is missing from PVRX2 (back in with a patch).

But GBPVR should be exactly the same at what you are used to.... Its just had some work done to where if loads DLL libraries from (that common directory).

Hi, I finally installed the latest version of PVRX2 (1.016) and the latest ML2 Beta 6.7. The install seemed to have gone well. I only use the PVRX2 over the MVP. The newest version seems much faster and the new GUI is nice as well. My problem is that I no longer have sound on the MVP. If I use the ML2 on my desktop then the sound works fine. Any ideas on what I did wrong?
Thanks

Does music from the normal music library work? ie the default non-plugin one?

If yes, post me some logs please and I'll see if you are generating a playlist, if not, then you'll probably need to post into the MVP area for some help...

Picking if you can do it on the PC then it's probably an MVP thing, but it works on mine....I use the mvpmc dongle...

I tried the standard PVRX and it also does not play any sound. Therefore I guess it is not related to ML2. However, some strange I wanted to run by everyone. The normal Music Library plugin does not load if the ML2 plugin is also checked. It only works if the ML2 plugin is uncheked. Also, if the ML2 is unchecked, I still see logging messages about it in the log. I attached my log. Inside there is also an ML2 SQLLite error message that Idont understand:

Another thing I tried was to use the mvpmc dongle...When I use that, the server never starts up.
