I had a very strange occurrence recently I recorded a 2 hour show and it never stopped recording although it was recorded as finished. I just noticed that it has not stopped when I pressed the blue button the time was still growing and it has gone on for 11 hours already. The only way to stop it was to restart GBPVR. Am attaching screen shots and logs of past 2 days. As seen the screen shots the only way I would have known something was wrong was when you press the blue button and you see the time as having reached the 11th hour and/or check recording status and see that indeed it was still recording. You can also see at the last shot that the system has indicated that it has completed the recording and is not anymore pending. I believe it has something to do with the overlap at midnight.

Btw, was watching this show through my MVP, if that makes a difference.

Was it really still recording, or was the timing info just broken in the file produced by your capture device, reporting a really long duration? ie, was the file still getting bigger?

I've not seen any other reports of this.

Unfortunately the logs dont contain the recording happening. All I can suggest is enabling log flushing in the config app, then posting the logs next time it happens (if it happens again).

Yes, it was still recording and I couldn't stop it from recording until i restarted the recording service. The file was about 54GB by the time I deleted it, unfortunately I was not able to screen cap it before deleting it. This has never happened before as well. I hope it never happens again

I was able to recreate this problem unintentionally, but this time I know what I did.

1. I went to TV Guide
2. Chose a program
3. Clicked "Watch"
4. Watched it for a while, then clicked the 'rec' button to record until end of the show
5. Press 'back' to return to TV Guide
6. Watched a previously recorded show
7. Went back to watch the recorded show that I chose from Live TV
8. Was able to watched but noticed the recording continuing beyond the TV show length.

This might be a bug on the rec button on Live TV, as I normally just choose a show then record, rarely pressing 'rec' on Live TV.

Sorry, but did not set flush logs to disk, but will do so now.
