Just want to add that I do not have any problem with the new driver. Recorded a 1 hr show today, and things look normal. I am using Sapphire Theatre 550 and Celestica 9600xt. I had used the Hauppauge 150 before and did not like the PQ, returned it and bought the 550.

Would someone who is happy with their 550Pro TV-out quality mind sharing their Catalyst settings? Noise filter, 2D/3D filter, etc. It would be much appreciated. Smile

Sorry to raise an old thread, but i'm overwhelmed by all the config settings.

I'm currently running a ATI 550Pro, and a 9600Pro and i'm trying to figure out the optimal settings /decoder. My picture has come a long way so far...

I'm currently using the following in PVRX2:

Latest ATI drivers
Cyberlink decoder from PowerDVD 7.233
Force weave
Deinterlacing: None.

Should my deinterlacing setting in misc be set to "encoder_pass_through"?

I set it to 'encoder pass through' by default in all installs, and is the only way I test it myself. Setting it to None can cause lip sync issues in live tv for some users.

Thank you for the quick reply Sub!

I'm actually experiencing the lipsyncing problem, so hopefully that will fix that when i give it a try this evening.

I'm trying to concentrate on tweaking picuture qualtiy, and worry about my audio issues last.

I can't tell you guys how much i'm enjoying GBPVR/PVRX2! It's great!
