Not an issue - just fyi...

From Manage Content tab - Create Thumbnails - in the Make Thumbnails dialog, once you have Generated your thumbnails - scroll forward works - scroll backwards sometimes causes an Unhandled exception error.

Yep, occurred when settings caused a situation where we were trying to generate a thumbnail somewhere past end of file. The program was trying to load an image that did not exist.

Fixed in next version...

I like the way that this plugin is developing. Congrats on some excellent work.

Perhaps for consideration. Can a field be added for each movie to allow owners to manually edit a location field? I would use this to place a location code to the master DVD.

Along these lines, can some or all the fields be selectable? That way only "useful" fields can be shown, less useful hidden. I have no need for the language field.

I'm watching with interest on this request.

Best regards,
Dan

Thanks. I'm glad you find the plugin useful

I like the idea of adding user-definable fields, I'll put this on the TODO list.

Additionally, allowing the user to select which fields to display in the plugin may be useful as well, I'll add this to the list also.

My time may be limited for the next several weeks, but I will consider these items for the next (or some future) release.

Another fyi (why do I always seem to break stuff)

In the 'Add Content' tab, I select a folder containing 14 mpgs and one sub-folder.

When I 'Locate Content', nothing is found. However, If I select 'SubDirs' it finds both the mpgs in the sub folder and the mpgs in the first level folder - it also shows all the mpgs as being in the sub folder.

Hmm... Can't seem to recreate this.

I know in the last version I made a change to correct a problem with this function. What version are you running?

You can find the version numbers in the config log (config.exe.log), search for MovieWizConfigForm and note version for MovieWiz and WizUiHelper.

EDIT: Most current versions: MovieWiz v1.0.8.1, WizUiHelper v1.0.13.1

That's what I've got
Quote:2007-10-26 17:47:18.953 VERBOSE [1] About to check file: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins\MusicLibrary2\xUltraID3Lib.dll
2007-10-26 17:47:19.687 VERBOSE [1] MovieWizConfigForm: version 1.0.8.1
2007-10-26 17:47:19.687 VERBOSE [1] MovieWizConfigForm: WizUiHelper version 1.0.13.1
I'll have another play with this and see what I can find...

Alex

OK I've had another look...

I add movies into MovieWiz using full network addresses like '\\TITAN\PVR\Music Videos\...' - this allows me to maintain the library on one machine and simply copy it to any other machine. If I use full network addresses, I get the problem - If I use a folder on my local machine, I don't get the problem.

Alex

Forget the last bit...

The files causing the problem have an extension of .MPG (in upper case). If I change them to .mpg or add .MPG to the Target Extensions list it works OK. Looks like when the SubDirs checkbox is unchecked, your search is case sensitive and when the SubDirs checkbox is checked, your search is not case sensitive. The existence of a sub-directory is irrelevant, as is the use of full network addresses.

Please excuse my ignorance if this is a repeat question.
Is there any way to have two lists?
I have my "Episodes" in a separate list to my "movies" in the video library. It would be nice to have the same functionality in this plugin.
Even if you could add a second installation of the plugin.
Are there any plans to implement this feature?

One way to do it would be to create a category based on the TV Program name, then attach each episode to that category.

In the plugin, with the top list box, you could select your TV program, then in the lower list, all the episodes would display.
