Hi

I feel sure that this is a no brainer, and apologise in advance for my stupidity but.....

My digital camera produces .asf files when doing short movies.

If I rename everyfile from .asf to .wmv they appear in the listing and play fine. No conversion just a file rename.

I could rename every file or add asf to the known file types.

Where does gbpvr keep the "known file types" - it must just be an "add .asf" to the list.

Have I just proved that I know nothing of what I am talking about?

Sorry, the file extensions are not configureable in the current release, but are in the next one.

I havnt personally tried them, but if they render automatically with directshow, then they should work. You'd need to add the extension to the <VideoLibraryExtensions> setting in config.xml though.

Thanks Sub,

It works just fine once I added the extension.
