Comskip/Show Analyser is a few seconds off

Hmm I've tried Show Analyser and Comskip. During playback the gap seems to be perfect, but its like 5-10 seconds delayed. Ie/ I see the beginning of the commercials and miss the begging of the next part of the show...

Any ideas or am I expecting too much?

I had serious issue when it came to timing which ended up being the DirectShow NVIDIA splitter I was using for playback of transport streams. I would try using Haali media splitter and the Cyberlink MPEG2 decoder.

You can also download the trial of VideoRedo to use as tool to verify the commerical points marked by comskip. You'll need to enable the VideoRedo project files output in the comskip.ini file. The points should be dead on in 99% of all cases if it's anything like I'm seeing.
