Crash on EPG Update from GBPVRTray

PVRX2 crashes when I try to do an EPG update from GBPVRTray. There is no problem with automatic updates or manual updates from config so I'm guessing its related to the tray app. I am running the latest version and have tried copying the backendcommon patch from the survival guide to no avail. A little googling suggests it's .Net related but I haven't found a similar error reported elsewhere in the forum. Any help will be appreciated.

A couple of other have also mentioned this, but I've not looked into it yet. Hopefully in the next few days.

I have not had a crash.
it just seems to ignore me when I choose update epg from the tray icon.
