I've been upgrading from v0.96.12 to 1.01.05. Before I could do a search and then schedule a recording. Now I can search for a show, but can't schedule a recording anymore from Search Guide.
I've tried hitting F1 in the TV Guide, but no search box appear

ISTR 1.1.5 improved the search function and is now available from the main menu. Make sure it is enabled in config under the plugin section.

This is a known problem with the old Access MDB database. Its probably time for you to run the Change Database utility to switch to the SQLite database that was introduced about a year or so ago.

It doesnt touch your old database. Its still there.

If you'd just forgotten to tick the 'migrate existing data' option, then you can just run the ChangeDatabase.exe again and make sure it's ticked.

I have a similar problem, though I upgraded from 1.0.16 - and has not been using this feature since the old gbpvr release.

I too executed the Changedatabase.exe, but hitting Search Guide does nothing... Any other sugestion?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I have now played around a bit more (since viewing the logs myself), it seems like there is a problem with the Community skin, as Search Guide works perfectly under the blue skin...

Shame on me, downloading a new version of the Community skin resolved this problem!
