from the PC is tricky, my server runs headless at the moment and i only RDP in to maintain it. I never use two MVP's at once (my place isnt big enough! lol).

I'll see if i can set up a display and see what happens later tonight and post results.

If no-one is using it you could rdp /console into the server and test that way. But last night I had a play on the mvp and on the server, and yes the mvp may not be working as my entries didn't come through as well. But did from the server.

I'll see if I can test the mvp here again (now that it's saturday)

I got some of my songs coming through to Last.fm from the mvp...they just took a while to show up.

I'm running the beta and can't get passed this error when scanning for files. Not sure what I'm not doing right. Can you shed any light on this error?

P - looks like you're missing taglib-sharp.dll from gbpvr\plugins\musiclibrary2 - you can get it here.

For some reason, the use of taglib-sharp is not as "dynamic" as I had hoped.

Mentioned in the first post is where you can download it from. If you download it and put it in you MusicLibrary2 directory (if you are on 1.1.5) or in the Common (if 1.0.16).

Doesn't appear that adding this .dll to the plugin/musiclibrary2 directory makes any difference. Is there something else I need to do after this is copied over?

Are you on PVRX2 or still on gbpvr?

And when you do the scan, where are you doing it? Config app? gbpvr/pvrx2? or MlUpdater?

Sorry, should have mentioned my setup....PVRX2 in Vista Ultimate with 1.1.5. I've tried both config and in the updater but only get the error while in config. In the updater, the system just sits doing nothing but does not hang.

If you added it manually did you do it as administrator, otherwise it will end up in the VirtualStore and not be found.
