The possibility to skin the main menu in PVRX2 is very limited at the moment.
I don't know when Sub's going to implement more features to modify the elements that make up the main menu.
At the moment there are no scroll buttons or panels possible.
It is not possible to have more than 5 buttons. The active buttons "zoom" is hardcoded in PVRX2 and cant be adjusted in the skin files.
I can do what is possible from time to time depending on what skinning possibilities are allowed.
So we will just have to wait and see........
Best Regards

Hi,

in the osd tvguide the fonts seem a bit large! Were they intended to be like this? Otherwise its a great skin, and would love to see the skin plugin built in!

Thanks

On my 800x600 monitor, where I do the skinning everything looks fine.
If font doesn't show as on this screenshot, it must be some scaling problem that is resolution dependant.

Sub has removed the mini-guide in the latest version, if I'm not mistaken.
Hope it make its way back.....I like it.

Lol now I'm confused! I've definately got a mini tv guid appearing when I press the tv guide button watching tv using pvrx2! Except it's not that 'mini' as all the fonts are twice the size as the normal guide. Hope that makes sense?

Thanks

I had this problem too, the font was too big. I had a hunt through the xmls a while back (I'm no expert I'm afraid) and I eventually changed the font size within the "TV Guide" folder in the file live-skin.xml, for "listing style" down to size 8. Please see file attached.

Please note, this works for me @ 1440 x 900 and 1360 x 768.

Cheers

Thanks for the skin file.

There is a scaaling problem when using 4:3 or 16:9 resolution in PVRX2.
When I use this skin file the text is microscopic. I get 4 text row in one cell.
I will notify Sub about this scaling font problem when using 16:9 resolution.

The text in the grid also looks very "blurry" compared to rest of the text in PVRX2.
Probably due to some kind of an scaling factor that's causing that.
Best Regards

This is what my mini guide looks like when using the skin file I posted above. To be honest it looks OK to me.

Cheers Smile
