I am considering purchasing a NovaT909 card to use with GBPVR however the Hauppauge web site says the drivers are for Windows XP only is this correct?

http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages....tml#win

Also 16MB seems quite large for drivers is the download above drivers only or is there a driver only package available to download from somewhere?

There is also a MPG Decoder download link also is this a good decoder to use for MPG1/2/DVD files?

TIA

I dont know. You'll probably have to take their word for it.

That a look at the http://www.technotrend.com website. They make the Nova-T, which is effectively the card they label 'budget'. Their drivers may support 2K.

A point I've been meaning to make for some time now...

According to the Hauppauge forum, 909 is the generic model number for ALL Nova-T cards. That includes the older TechnoTrend cards and the newer 90002 ones.

Reading what it says on the downloads pages, only the older card has W2K drivers - I can't say as mine is the newer one and I use XP.

Check out the Hauppauge 'Digital Terrestrial' Forum for further info.
