Problem happens with default blue and CS3 on every reoccurring entry that I tried it on.

Code:
2007-12-09 20:12:18.093    ERROR    [1]    Unexpected error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at System.Drawing.Image.get_Width()
   at CAllocatorPresenter.SetRenderList(CAllocatorPresenter* , ArrayList renderList)
   at NativeUtilities.MediaHelper.setDirect3DRenderList(ArrayList renderList)

   at GBPVRX2.xb979ad394703258e.xfb409e85bd292293(String[] xf18a926310372520)

Full log attached.

I tried the updated backend.common that fixed the DVB EPG problem with reoccurring (just for the heck of it) and did an update epg but that didn;t help and resulted in this error.

Code:
2007-12-09 20:24:09.703    ERROR    [1]    Unexpected error informing recording service that EPG has updated: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

happens with me too - sometimes hangs, sometimes takes a long time.

workaround is to delete and re-create recurring recording...

PS. gEd - you really have ½TB in your media pc? Wink

so it does.... (re-creating it) - cheers.

So I then ran the full reload
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe" -EmptyEPGOnly
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe" -deletependingrecurring
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe" -OnlyUpdateEPG

It now all looks to be ok so it looks like the update to the gbpvrbackendcommon.dll did fix the problem (once I reloaded the EPG).

btw: The update was from post #35 in this thread

1/2TB...where does it say that? but yes I have a 400GB + 250GB drives. That's fairly normal isn;t it? :-)

I'm a bit busy with the day job today, but I had a quick try at reproduce this. It seemed to be working ok for me here. I'm not sure if its something different about these specific recordings, or because my build has something fixed post 1.1.5.

Does setting <ShowTranscodeDuringSchedule>false</ShowTranscodeDuringSchedule> in config.xml help?

Just to clarify, I only can't update the recurring recordings that I've imported via "Import Recordings".

i've never imported recordings...

have just deleted (all) my 2 capture sources and funnily enough, 4 channels remain in the channel config page which tie in with my recurring recordings - which i've also deleted...

any way i can force these channels to be removed?
