0kb recordings only on pbs 18.2 works, but not 18.1

i'm in over my head here. i'm trying to record pbs in austin, tx and only get 0kb recording on the primary pbs channel, 18.1. sure enough i don't get anything when i try to view live tv. i can view programming on their secondary channel 18.2, but schedulesdirect doesn't link to it as a channel. their webpage doesn't mention 18.1 going down so i don't know why this happened. it was working a couple of weeks ago and i didn't change anything that i'm aware of. i've messed with the settings subsequently to no avail. have missed 3 or 4 programs over the past week or so now, all with 0kb. but like i said it's not coming in. all my other channels come in fine and i have a good antenna, so i'm baffled. but i must admit i haven't been able to figure out a lot of stuff about this program so i guess i'm dumber than i thought i was.

They might have changed their PIDs for that channel. I'd try forcing a rescan in the the 'map digital channels to epg channels' screen, and remap the channels in question.

yes, i tried that. no luck.

i was able to watch channel 18.1 with the program watchhdtv. so somehow only this channel seems to have gotten corrupted in gbpvr. also when i watch live tv and switch to this channel, the program spits me back to the main menu. so the channel is broadcasting and i can see it with another program, but it messes up gbpvr. also, when i try the "Digital Channel Mapping" 18.1 is listed, but when i select it it never shows in the preview, although it is being broadcast from the same source at 18.2 which comes in fine and they both come in fine in watchhdtv. should i just do a clean install at the next version of gbpvr and see if that fixes it?
