Is there a problem with my setup or is there a known issue when recording from the s-video input and RCA inputs on a 150MCE?

I just tried recording and the file size was larger than a gig within a minute or so. I then tried recording from TV and the difference is very large, the TV file was much much smaller for the same time period

You can get this behaviour if you accidently set the card type as a PVR250/350.

Sorry... I should give a little more info.

I checked the recording settings and each one was set to medium

I just found my problem. It was set to the default 250 card and not my 150MCE. Now the file size are much better. Although I don't seem to be getting sound. I get sound when I record and play back TV. So maybe I will have to play with the audio drivers?

The S-Video cable doesn't carry sound, you'll have to use a separate audio cable, but you already knew that, didn't you..

Oh Ya... I knew that. I got the sound worked out. I played around with either the audio renderer or decoder and it works now!
