I have a basic DVB-T Radio plugin that has been tested on a few systems by myself and another forum member. We're now looking for one or two more testers in order to compare results to identify some teething problems.

The code should be considered Alpha-level so testers need to do a small amount of work to identify the tuning info for their region and be happy looking at log files etc.

Also, the radio component currently works independently of GB-PVR so testers must be aware that there IS a possibility it will interfere with normal GB-PVR activity. In other words, if you try to use it while GB-PVR is recording a DVB-T TV channel, it may trash the recording. You've been warned.

Any UK Freeview users prepared to put in a bit of work on this over the next couple of days, please PM me your email address and I'll send through the binaries and instructions.

Cheers,
Brian

We need one or two more testers for the project.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. At this stage - UK Freeview users only
  2. To participate, you MUST have more than one type of capture source, e.g., different makes/models of tuner card or USB device. They can be from the same manufacturer as long as they are differnt models, or could be two different manufacturers' devices.

PLEASE NOTE: The comments in the original message still apply - the code should be seen as being Alpha-level and could interfere with normal GB-PVR activity. Being aware of when GB-PVR recordings are about to take place is the tester's responsibility.

PM me your email address and cap. source details and I'll send through the software and instructions.

Cheers,
Brian
