Can you try changing skin back to blue. And in your community3 directory (skin not skin2) make sure there is a MusicLilbrary2 directory - my prod machine uses ML2 and CommunitySkin with no problems.

When I change back to blue I do get a display when I select ML2. I do not get any songs even though the .db3 file appears to be 500k but that's another issue I gather.

So I do get a display in blue but not Community3. The beta didn't have many instructions for a newbie like myself so I assume I dumped something in the wrong directory when I extracted the files.

Ahh, I think I may see your problem. Mine uses Community3 which is the pvrx2 version of the community skin.

Yes psycik is correct you need to download the PVRX2 version. I spotted that in your logs at work but I couldn't reply until I got home.

Brilliant. Worked perfectly. Thank you so much. I knew about that version and thought it was the only one I'd downloaded and installed. I would never have given it a second thought but for your counsel.

A note for others users I did not get with my first read through the Wiki... The new tablib-sharp library just recognizes the M4A files. You'll require a codec for playback by Windows. I grabbed the AAC codec from the K-Lite codec release. This is significant in that my iTunes library is ripped and encoded in Apple Lossless. It's now fully avalable for me through ML2.

Can someone try this for me. I have a new interfaces.dll file that should hopefully remove the need to have ultraid3 and taglib-sharp libraries.

Please back up your old one (move it to another directory is easiest) and your db - then copy in this dll. Then try a scan again. Please only try if you're fairly experienced. If it works, I'll add to the main 6.7 beta package..

Via the setup I did a 'nuke library, and rescan. Superficially I did not see any differences. With my present setup (ML 6.6) I noticed that the error message 'object not set..' has disappeared in the update function via the popup menu in the client. I'll be back if I notice any further issues.

It was more, if you can now get rid of the taglib sharp library or the ultraid3 one. And see if that windows error has one away. It seemed to go away for me.

How about the error where tracks are removed from the playlist but still show? Do you see that in your installation?
