You need directshow decoders installed for the types of files you want to play. If you can play that file in Windows Media Player then you can usually play it in GB-PVR too.
For example, to play MPEG2 files you'd need an MPEG2 decoder installed.

Ok, thanks for the fast answer, I have uncovered that with GBPVR all work fine but with PVRX2 only mpg/jpg :-(

You're not clearly saying what you're trying to do, so its pretty hard to guess.
Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

In the logs I can see you attempt to play "D:\Crash (David Cronenberg, 1996) ottimo.avi", which seems to go ok?
It then fails when attempting to play "D:\Craig David - Hot stuff.mp3". Where did you get this mp3 file from? We've encountered two things that can cause problems mp3 files in the past: 1) the file is covered by DRM and not playable in unsecured external apps (live GB-PVR), or 2) the file was created with a bad ripping app. Regarding this last reason, we've seen some apps that produce rips that are only playable in a couple of programs, and the users found they had to switch to a different ripping app. You can check if the mp3 file is universally playable by downloading GraphEdit, then selecting the 'render media file' option from the menu, selecting the file, then hitting play. If it doesnt work in GraphEdit, then it wont work in GB-PVR or a ton of other Directshow based apps. The reason it can still work in GBPVR.exe even when its one of these bad rips is because GBPVR.exe used an embedded Windows Media Player window to do its playback.

Playing "D:\Crash (David Cronenberg, 1996) ottimo.avi" return a black screen.
Now (sorry) I have tried with other films/songs and they work approximately 50% of the cases while with the Winamp/KMPlayr installed sowtware all work. Other problem, when I try to go in "Internet Radio", appears the gbpvr10105.msi installation window.

Try installing the codec pack from http://www.cccp-project.net/
