Hi I have finally made GB-PVR to work with my ExpressCard Pinnacle PCTV 320x tuner. It's working fine, I searched for channels and I can watch them without any problem, but the reason why I installed GB-PVR is the support for recording subs. I have ordered few TV shows on Blu-ray and HD DVD without Czech subs. I hate amateur subs because of bad translations and there are no Czech DVD versions here. All I want is to capture the teletext subs and then edit ripped Blu-ray and HD DVD and add those subs to the rips.
But he recording to SRT doesn't work. I have checked "teletext" and "capture teletext sub...". I have also inserted the 888 page numrber in the channel setup. No subs are shown during watching TV, even if I enable SRT viewer. The teletext is working, I even went to the page 888 manually and the subs are shown, but only when viewing teletext. I read somewhere in the forums that the subs are not working on Vista (I have 32bit Home Premium) because of WST Codec Filter which is replaced in the newest Microsoft OS by VBICodec. Is there some way to instal WST codec manually (and download it somewhere?)? Or is there any other way how can I record teletext subs? I just need the subs. For example is there some recording software that would record video + audio + teletext subs which I would be able to extract later in ProjectX? I tried MediaCenter which allows me to record video+audio+subs to the DVR-MS format but ProjectX can't read that format properly. I need TS with audio+video+subs or some advice how to get teletext subs working in GB-PVR. Thx

Sorry, bur as you've already read, teletext subtitles are not working in Vista. I dont have any ETA when this will be fixed.

Assuming you're talking about the DVB side of your Pinnacle PCTV 320x, you should be able to use software like DVB Stream Explorer to record a transport stream, including the teletext streams. This should be able to be processed by ProjectX.
