I am experiencing many errors relating to overnight conversions. Firstly I don't do any conversions at any time, and as far as I know its's not set up to do any automatically.
I have seen these errors before but not this many and have made no changes recently other than to update the Hauppauge drivers which seems to have solvedd (or certainly reduced) this problem: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=28706 that I was getting if I watched live TV.
Logs are attached, I'm hoping I might just need to turn something off somewhere to stop it attempting to do whatever conversion it's trying to do.
The main errors appear in GBPVRRecordingService.exe-1.log.

I did try a search but all the significant 'words' in the error get rejected as being too long!
Thanks in advance for all and any help.

Damn, nobody have any ideas?
I might have a look in the database and see if I can see anythink marked for transcode.

Can you also zip and attach your config.xml?

I am seeing these errors as well (I was just about to post a new thread). something is adding recordings to the transcode_queue table. Are you using the tvlistings plugin or the default tv guide?

Can you use a tool like SQLiteSpy to dump the contents of your TRANSCODE_QUEUE table in gbpvr.db3, then post it here?

mine is

"scheduled_recording_oid","status","percentage"
"7583","0","0"
"7572","0","0"
"7583","0","0"
"7591","0","0"

I notice there is a duplicate OID

Sorry you might need to give me the contents of your recording table for those OID values aswell.

I think its something to do with this recording having been deleted, and is then missing when the transcoding needs to take place.

ok

but I think the main point is that both mine and macgyver's systems are not configured to transcode recordings, so these entries should not be appearing in the table at all.

It's not a biggie so I'll keep my eye on the transcode_queue table and try and figure out what is casuing these entries to be added.

cheers
