Hey there,
I'm having some more problems. First off, I have a strange bug. First off, if I'm zapping through the channels (usually starts at channel 6 (order)) and I come at channel 1 (Nederland 1 here, freq channel 72) the system will reboot spontaniously. The tuner scan thingy does display it nicely, and also when I go there directly from the tv guide, it will show fine, however, in that case when I zap to the next or previous channel the system will reboot.
Secondly, I need to fine tune the channels. For some reason the channel numbers skip frequencies I need. On some channel the screen remains black and white because of this. I have a list of frequencies from my provider. You can find it at http://www.casema.nl/portal....andaard
All channels are in the range xxx.25 MHz. for some reason above some point the scan thingy goes to a xxx.75 MHz range, this is not correct in my case. Furthermore, the channel number don't correspond with any of the channels I need exactly (the first 10 in the list + discovery). Most are of by 2MHz. Some by even more. Secondly I believe this error is not directly related to the application, as this issue is the same with the AMCAP utility. So it's probably somewhere in the underlying API.
The frequencies in the list are correct. On my system I also run linux with the ivtv driver, which is still under heavy development. With those drivers I can enter the frequency exactly and the channels will be fine (or atleast, as fine as they're going to be at the moment with my tuner not being (fully) supported yet). Atleast I have color on all channels there, so those frequencies are better.
We're using a PAL B/G here. My system is a AthlonXP 1800+ with 512MB RAM, WinXP SP2, nVidia TNT2 32MB. Via chipset (audio). Hauppauge PVR 500MCE.
If any more info is needed, just ask.
TIA
