It was more, if you can now get rid of the taglib sharp library or the ultraid3 one. And see if that windows error has one away. It seemed to go away for me.

I did move UltraID3Lib.dll, taglib-sharp.dll and Entagged-Sharp.dll out of C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins

Whats the latest on the two bugs

Songs deleted from the playlist are still displayed in the playlist, although they are not actually played

and

it does not remember the screen it was left on [ie the playlist screen] and always reverts to the library screen after the screensaver has come on

Still outstanding. There's a v7 coming soonish. I'll make sure they are in there.

The "it does not remember" has been "by design" for quite a while to free up resources when existing from the plugin. But I can probably do it a different way now.

Can someone try this for me. I have a new interfaces.dll file that should hopefully remove the need to have ultraid3 and taglib-sharp libraries.

Please back up your old one (move it to another directory is easiest) and your db - then copy in this dll. Then try a scan again. Please only try if you're fairly experienced. If it works, I'll add to the main 6.7 beta package..

I tried it, seems to work fine. I get a lot of errors in the tag-reading (the old error: "value to big or too small for int32" ) but afaict all files are being read.
I was still running 6.5 because I couldn't get the tag reading functioning ok. In 6.7 (with taglib) I had a lot of files that wouldn't show up in the library alltough they were being read ok (according to the log and the db3).
So I'm happy again.

Have updated the wiki, since the 6.7 is pretty much the new "production version".

No sorry. That will be another exercise. But some of the things done for the new version should make the transition a bit easier.

Do you need the UltraID3 and taglib-sharp .dll's with the latest version on the Wiki? it looks like this version contains your new interfaces.dll.
I am getting some weird MVP resets when the Now Playing Screen Saver kicks in on some files.

No, without those two dlls, tag reading will be done via Windows Media Player. So it should still work.

However, Interfaces.dll still has to exist. Is that what you were asking?

This is probably more a question for the Screen Saver Plugin developer I guess, but you answered my question about ML2. I have the latest wiki version installed (with its interfaces.dll) and didn't know if I still should have the other two tag readers installed, sounds like it doesn't matter as far ML2 is concerned, and everything play just fine as long as the screen saver doesn't kick in. I think the screen saver is crashing when its tag reader hiccups on some of my files.
