I upgrade my GBPVR from version .99.12 to 1.0.16. The upgrade went fine but my only issue seems to be that rewind and fast forward no longer work, as far as I can tell all the other keys work fine.

WinXP
GBPVR 1.0.16
WinTV-PVR 150
45 button remote

I've tried the "Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings (45 button remote) under the config but it didn't do anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Enable the 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' setting in the config app. This is the default. The other style FF/RW never really worked well so I didnt bother implementing support for it when I created the new PVRX2 user interface.

Tried this, no go. Anything else I can try?

Much appreciated,

With 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' enabled, pressing the FF/RW should result in a short skip of 10 seconds with each press. This is the only option.

I'll check it again but it didn't seem to be doing that either.

Hi, this is no help or consolation to you at all... but I just upgraded, I'm using the same remote... and all went smoothly.

(Just a little post for any who are concerned about having similar problems).

Cool

Cool

Any chance you can send me a screenshot of your settings tab? I believe it is the last tab on the config screen. I'd just like to compare.

Was this problem ever resolved. I am having the same issue.

FF and REW do not work. At first i thought it was my remote settings, but even when i use the keyboard CTRL+D and CTRL+F do nothing.

I'm not aware of any problem, but you need to have the 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' enabled in the config app for it to work the way it is intended.
