Controlling vobsub?

sometimes playing a movie with subtitles selects the wrong subtitles language or font.
Is there a way to access vobsub during movie playback to control the subtitle file/language etc?

Sorry, GB-PVR has no built in support for vobsub so cant do this.

if you are not in fullscreen mode, you can use a mouse to click on the tray icon for vobsub, and I think you can select default settings in vobsub (either in vobsub or your splitting mux eg Halii media splitter)

Has anyone had any success controlling direct vobsub using the remote? Even without focus I'm wondering whether it might work using the 36656? codes to control apps directly? Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch subs on/off/select stream if more than one exists?

I've not seen a way to control vobsub by remote. As per Ted I try to get the default lang,sub pair settings correct through the Haali splitter config pages. For me this is something like "chi,eng;kor,eng;jpn,eng;eng,off" to get english subs on Chinese, Korean and japanese, but off for English audio. As I recall I did have some difficulties with Babel, which has many different audio, but the file I was using had a special subtitle track which gave me english subs for the foreign bits and no subs during English audio. But I had to manually select this one through the DirectVobSub system tray icon...which wasn't ideal.
