Recording in 78rpm

Okay, I give.

Tonight, I scheduled a record of season premiere of Prison Break.

Again, it happened, and tonight just at the worst time.:mad::mad:

Intermittently, my recordings are in fast forward mode. The file size reflects that lots of info is missing (992MB for an hour recording, when I'd expect much more).

This is a fairly new GBPVR installation with the HVR1600.

What the !@(*$(% is going wrong? :eek::eek:

Again, this doesn't happen for all my recordings. Just for about 30-40% of them.

If this was a digital QAM/ATSC recording, then it is most likely caused by the mux you're using.

Okay, I'm recording a Cable TV analog signal. No digital tv input.

It must be the encoding or muxing part of the process, but for analog TV this is done in hardware so I can only assume its either something buggy with the drivers for the device or the hardware itself.
