Hi Just wondering is there a plugin for a internet browser so you can browse the internet from within gbpvr instead of closing gbpvr and then browsering via firefox or exployer.

If there isn`t, can someone please create one Big Grin

Thanks

Here's a plugin that seems to be no longer supported. Source available - your chance to shine Wink

In the past I've used Visual C# 2005 Express Edition, which is a free download.

I don't use it very often, but I set up a custom task to call IE up. It's not ideal since the screen res is so low, but it works.

Has anyone figured out a good way to browse the internet with a remote? Assigning a button on the remote to tab through the links is a little frustrating...

I use a wireless mouse. I couldn't figure a good way to use the remote.

Yeah I might have to do that, but that means spending money and that means getting yelled at by my wife ;-)

You could try hipmouse. It basically allows you to use the arrow (or any other keys) on your remote to move the cursor as if it were the mouse. Also lets you do left/right clicks, double clicks, etc.

If you need help setting it up, please let me know. The instructions are a little intimidating, but it's really pretty easy once you figure out what the author is talking about.

Maybe see if you can locate someting called "simple browser" - it was a program which was used in conjunction with myHTPC - and is a 10 foot interface browser which was meant to be controlled by remote.

I think you'd have to do something with the key mappings in HIP - but it should work.
