I've been updating my version of GBPVR each time an updated version is release, but I'm kinda confused, and can't seem to find an answer in the forums anywhere. I see a new release of version 0.13 is out, as is version 0.90.10. I don't understand the version numbering scheme with GBPVR, and if I should just download and update the newest versions by date, or if 0.13 is some sort of test software, or what. Any help clearing this up would be most appreciated.

By the way, I enjoy the software very much, use it every day, and recommend it to other techies that I know. Thanks for a great solution to many problems.

A little while back someone posted a new message in an old thread about an old version of GB-PVR from about a year ago. Some people saw that thread as a new message, and though that the version number listed in the title of the topic was a new version, when it actually is not. As of the writing of this post, the current version is 0.90.10, the 0.90.xx series being an upgrade from the previous 0.2x.xx version series....

The post you read about v0.13 is over a year old.

The versions went v0.1, v0.2, v0.3 .... (through to) ... v0.23. At this point I decided we were getting closer to a 1.0 release, so I've changed the version number to v0.90. The next release will be v0.91.

Aaah, it's all making sense now. The thread just came to the top because Sub closed it, and I saw "February 20" as the opening date and assumed it was this year, since the date is so close to today. Sorry to post such a dumb question![Image: biggrin.gif] Thanks for your patience...

It only came to the top because some other plonker posted in it.
