When I run this it moves the program fine, buit if I then go back into video library and try to move another it gives me an Object reference not set to an Instance error and the screen goes white with a full size red X across it. I wonder if I have installed it correctly.....having added the profile in config.xml, should the dirs statement be there also? I wasn't sure so added the directories to path.

I also have to restart IR.exe

Its not clear to me if you're talking about a plugin or not.

Either way, reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

are there any weird characters in the title/subtitle/description? it bombs on some foreign chars..[dos thing] tho i think i've found a fix..untested tho..

i've made some updates to the batch file to reset the path, etc. so maybe that will fix it for ya..[haven't uploaded yet]

what was name of file being moved and title, etc.?
did it update the info for recordings screen?

Thanks pBS. Yes, it is your plugin. I'm at work at the moment, so don't have access to the machine, but it works for me and from memory, I have successfully moved Chinatown and The Matrix among a few others. It's only when I go back to it to try to archive another show that it happens, so it maybe losing a path setting. BTW is the directory info OK in the path statement or should it go somewhere else?

the place to set the output path is in the config.xml profile, the batch is generic so you can multiple profiles and it sends it wherever you tell it on cmd line..
[can also be used from cmd line easily..just remember to run from gbpvr\ dir and call it with (\third party\reloc.bat "path\filename.mpg" "dir_to_send_it_to") ]

show me the config line when you can and i'll see if i can't get it righted..

like for mine i have
Quote:<Conversion name="Archive this file" exe="reloc.bat" cmd=" {SOURCE_FILE} \\home-1\g\mpg\ " targetExtension=".mov" />
must change the part in bold to path you wish to copy to..

also, what skin are you using? try with blue...

I tried that, but I can still only archive one program and then if I go to do another I can get into select a program but as soon as I click Transcode, I get an exception error

hmmm, see if there is a cmd.exe running process and kill it and try again...
if so..it's getting stuck for some reason..try running from cmd line to see any errors..
[while in gbpvr dir, run "third party\reloc.bat" "drv:path\filename.mpg" "drv:path\newlocation"]

I'm having the same issue. I can archive one program, but if I try to archive a second, no matter the title, I get an error just like this guy and get the red x of doom on the screen. Here's my config.xml line:

Code:
<Conversion name="Archive to D:" exe="reloc.bat" cmd=" {SOURCE_FILE} D:\Archives\ " targetExtension=".mov" />

The first archive goes through fine as far as I can tell. Both the .mpg and .txt files are moving, and it plays fine from the Recordings menu. I just cannot do two in a row without GBPVR wanting to display a funking background.
