Hi,
I have Cyberlink Playmovie 1.5 which is a plugin for Vista MCE.
It has hardware acceleration for ATI and NVIDIA, Mpeg2 decoder, BD Decoder and HD-DVD decoder.
When checker via XP Decoder Checkup tool it presents itself as a CyberLink Video/SP Decoder.
When looking through the list of Mpeg-2 decoder in Playback and DVD its not listed.
Great features and allows Blu-Ray and HD-DVD within the same decoder pack.
Seems logically if I set the Play movie plugin as my system default and GB-PVR to use system default then all should be fine... No... Setting a default manually in Vista is not that easy. XP Checkup tool doesn't seem to do much from a default decoder point of view... But gives great info.
Has anyone every tried to use the Cyberlink Playmovie? Or knows how to successuly change the default MPEG-2 decoder in Vista?
Look forward to peoples thoughts.
Cheers
Sol
