I'm in the US at the moment, and was surprised to how many google ads are presented for CT TV Listing. Back home in New Zealand I've never seen one of these ads, but here in the US it seems to be nearly every ad presented.

For you guys in the US, I assume you see the same thing? and if so, has it been this way for a long time?

I guess firefox (adblock pro and noscript) block that stuff on me... I cant say that I mind how much cleaner the internet looks without it Smile but yeah, that is what I see in IE.

I considered it, but no OTA is no good. And the super awesome scrapers are still going strong.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

In the UK, i dont see that, but maybe adblock stops that, but either way, ads dont bother me that much.
GBPVR: A64 X2 6000+, ASUS M2A-VM HDMI, 4GB ram, 8800GT GFX, 2x Nova-T DVB-T, 1x D-Box2 Cable reciever, 2x Wired MVP's, 1.0.16. Vista.
