Hi, I am a new user of PVRX2. I am trying to schedule recurring recording sessions through the TV Guide module, but the program is only giving me the option for one time recording. I can't figure out how to change this in the config module or elsewhere. If anyone has suggestions on how to enable the different recording types discussed in the manual, I would be grateful.

Also, I can't get the config module to accept my quality settings. It only records at medium regardless of how I set it up in Capture Sources/Recording Source/Quality Profile. Perhaps this is not the way to configure the recording quality settings? Thanks for your help.

BTW, my system config is: Win XP Pro SP2 on Intel Q6600 2.4Gh processor, 2G RAM, 500 G HDD, eVGA 8600GTS video card, Hauppauge HVR 1600 TV tuner.

If you select a program in the TVguide the pop-up should list "QuickRec" and "Record". If you select "record" a further pop-up should let you change the recording behavior, quality and padding.

Its also worth noting that the quality settings only apply to analog recordings. Digital recordings always use the bitrate/resolution set by the broadcaster prior to transmission.

Thanks for the tips. I had tried accessing those settings by navigating to the record button and then pressing the enter key. This did nothing. After reading your posts, I played with it more and discovered that I need to press the right arrow key to access the additional options for record and quality. Thanks again...and sorry for my public display of bone-headedness.
