Was working, now crash on Config

I don't know where to start!

First of all thanks to all of you that support this project and make it what it is - I don't know how you all do it.

Now, to the problem...
I have had 1.1.5 (pvrx2) for a few months now and it has been working fine. I however, never set up the few digital channels that I receive over cable. I split the signal into my Avermedia M780 card, and tried to set up the new channels. At some point in the process, I wasn't able to start pvrx2 anymore - I would just get the windows "crash" "do you want to report this?" error.

I've tried everything (probably too much). I uninstalled gb-pvr and reinstalled. It "crashes" the same way at the end of the install process. I then uninstalled, deleted all registry keys and tried again. Same problem. I system restored to a point before the problem. Same problem.

I can't even get it to run at all now! What next?

Any specs available upon request...

Do you have any log files in the logs directory, if so, zip and post.

Your config file is corrupt:

Data at the root level is invalid. Line 534, position 12.

Zip and attach your config.xml

I have multiple (from backups, windows restore, etc.). I bet I could try using some of the old files to get it to work. Here they are...

Your config.xml is corrupt. The end of the file looks like:

<DaemonToolsPrePlayDelay>4500</DaemonToolsPrePlayDelay>
</settings>elay>
</settings>

Using an editor (not wordpad.exe), delete

</settings>elay>

so that the end of file looks like:

<DaemonToolsPrePlayDelay>4500</DaemonToolsPrePlayDelay>
</settings>

Save then restart.

P.S. - which log file did you look at to see the config.xml file was corrupt?

I found the error in the GBPVRTray.exe.log
