Hi all,
been lurking here for some time, and have managed to get a good stable working system for some time (barring homeplug issues)

However, due to an issue when upgrading a hard drive with windows Home server, I had to reinstall.

I have also replaced my tv tuner from a nova-t 500 to a terratec cinergy 2400.

The cinergy works fine with the default software, finding loads of channels. However GBPVR doesn't find a single channel. I have had a new aerial installed last week and can pick up the Mendip transmitter with an excellent signal.

I have the cyberlink mux installed
Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\PROGRA~1\devnz\gbpvr\mpgmux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.1307

I have also included the xml settings from the terratec software.

Can anyone shed some light on this one please? I have nearly worn out the patience of my tolerant wife!

According to the logs everything succeeds but the device fails to lock onto any signals.

Thanks for the speedy reply! How do I get gbpvr to fix the signals, or where do I put the contents of the TV.xml file generated from the terratec software?

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm not aware of anything GB-PVR should do differently than it currently is.

Thanks very much for checking my logs. You're not related to Gillian McKeith, are you?

Mindful that my GBPVR config was OK, I just downloaded and installed beta 2.83 drivers from the Terratec website (I had 2.66), rescanned and it worked!

I've just got to solve why I can't seem to pick up E4 now.

Further problems -Sad my no.1 tuner scans, finds and saves channels fine, but does not display anything when viewing them in GBPVR or my MVP. If I add the second tuner, that works fine.

Both tuners work in the default app and powercinema.

I have done a minimal GBPVR install with one tuner and a full scan and saved the logs.

TIA

Just to finalise this thread for anyone else with similar problems in the future, I have managed to get my Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT working stably with the 2.55 drivers from their website.

I can't get GBPVR to record with any of the later drivers (2.60, 2.66 or beta 2.83) despite being able to scan for and find channels.

2.43 also works, but blue screens frequently (stop error D1 with micngcap.sys)

Most drivers can be downloaded from here

ftp://ftp.terratec.com/Receiver/Cinergy2...te/History

Other people have had similar problems with MCE2005
