So I put some shows on season recording, or record all... anyways I'm trying to cancel it so it does not record the show(s) at all. Am I just overlooking a setting? I've spent forever in each menu I can find but no where does it seem to let me cancel a season.

The best I can get is for it to only keep one episode.

Thanks

You should be able to cancel them all in recurring under the recordings menu...

That's right. If you cancel the listing in the Recurring menu, GB-PVR should also delete all pending episodes.

I think this was a bug that was fixed recently, so make sure you are using the latest version with patches.

Well i've been to that menu before, i can select each show and delete it, but I can't change the recording type. Its pretty much the only thing I cant change.

I have version 1.1.5, i havnt installed any patches yet. I'm also using the community skin.

Any ideas on why I cant change this setting? can i manually edit it somewhere else?

thanks

You cant change the recording type after it is created. If you need to do this, then delete the recording and recreate it.

Thats nothing to do changing the recording type (ie, record once, record season, recording season daily timeslot, record season weekly timeslot etc).

You should just be able to go to the Recordings screen, view the Recurring list, select the show you want to cancel, hit enter to view the details, then choose the Cancel button. It'll automatically cancel any pending episodes related to that season recording and delete the season recording. You dont need to remove the episodes manually.
