As I'm now finally up and running with my DVB card, I now have to work through some more issues.

Remote behavior (logs attched):

Start PVRX2 with green button, remote works fine in all menus etc. Start Live TV and remote stops working, use mouse to exit Live TV. Remote works again in Menu screens etc, start Live TV again and remote works!
This I have tested many times. I have to go in and out of live TV to get the remote to work in Live TV. Looks like the remote bit gets shut out the first time the DVB card is connecting to a channel. (remember I'm running mutidec+card reader)

Recording: If I have 2 recordings in succession, the second recording will not work. It makes a file of the right size, just wont play it after the recording is finished. If one watches it while recording, it plays. I have checked both shows in WMP, the first plays, the second will not play. Wife not happy!

I also notices that if I watch a recording whike it is stil recording, the timeline at the tops show som strange behavior, the recoding time goes way too fast and a 45 min show shows about 2 hours! Like it is in a time warp!
Also, if one exits the above, and goes back in, resume does not go to the spot form were one exited. It goes to and ealier point!

I have not set conversion to anything yet and have the BDA multiplexer set to MS DVR-MS. I have read the sticky mux thead but are non the wiser. I will have to try some of the stuff as I have sync issues.

Config:
I would like to set the low signal popup delay in config to more the 5 secs. However after re-installing GBPVR, if I change the value and save GBPVR will not work and I have to revert to my backed up config.xml. All I'm doing is opening config.xml in notepad, changing the value from 5 to 8, saving, and exiting. It worked before! It's like its making the config file unreadable to GBPVR.

Bump! Hope you had a good holidays and that you ar refreshed to help me and my probs!

An update. I've had to revert to my STB and PVR 150. Got to much hassel for no DVB subtitles.

However I want to keep working on DVB as the picture quality is so much better. Also channel change speed is great (exept for low signal pop up!)

This would have to be related to the mux. I'd try the Cyberlink 5.0.1037 mux instead.

What plugins do you have installed? I remember that in the past (a few months ago) one of the plugins was saving this file when it shouldnt have been, which causes the file to revert to the version that was on disk when it started running.

Ive been playing with muxes and a.s.ap conversions etc. Seem to help. However, I'm getting failed recordings due to the signal prob. Is there a setting to get it to record even though the low signal pop up comes up? Good signal BTW.

No Plugins so don't know what is coursing the problem of not been able to change the xml file.

Did uou have a chance to check out the remote behavior? Real pain in the ass, having to go in and out with the mouse to get the remote to work. This is with the DVB card

GB-PVR will record whatever data the card delivers. If the card delivers no data, then it has nothing to record.

No, I dont know what is causing that. Sounds like something is stealing the focus.
