So you have two setups in config, QAM and Analog. You set up two different sources one for each. How do you switch in GBPVR from one source to another?

You dont tell to change sources, it does it automatically based on the channel you try to change to.

I have analog channels 2-80 or so. With the QAM source it offers to map the digital channels to the same numbered channels I pull from the digital channels. I assume theres some kind of symbol that differentiates the analog channels.

Hi Glenn56
The numbered channels in the mapping list are not that relevent, as far as I know, I think they are there to keep the order. The combined list of channels is given in the channels tab. I have found that to get the desired channel order, I order the xmltv epg and this seems to carry through to the on screen epg. If you have the same channel from various sources it is listed only once but when you record the highest unused source in the list of sources is selected for recording. For watching TV it selects from the bottom of the list. As a follow up question - is it possible to enable and disable sources without deleting and recreating the source. For example I have a motorised dish but one sat card. For each given satellite I can create a source relevent to that sat. Assuming I know where it's pointing at any given time is there any way (prefferably by a plugin API) to enable / disable the required source? Apologies for hi-jacking the thread but it kind of followed on in a vague sort of way!! cheers Keith

But you can disable the channels in question on one source...

If only while fixing tuner cards. For example while waiting for a replacement card I blew up, I had to delete that source, now I have the card back I have to go through and recreate the source. It would be a small addition to flag it as disabled. surely, go one, yeah, (and other sounds of approvable from the croud )

Ok, but dont count on it appearing anytime soon. Too much stuff already on the todo list, and not enough time.

Would be nice though, I'm switching beween two sources. Having to enable 50 channels on one source and disable 50 on another is a lot of clicking. A gobal enable/disable would be great.
I'll get my coat.......
