Hi (probably sub)
I have a Hauppauge HVR-1600 which came with the Hauppauge 45 button remote. I know this remote has native support in GBPVR, but I was thinking it would be useful to map those extra buttons at the bottom (green, red, yellow, blue) to do different things, like aspect ratio for example. It would also be cool if I could get the green power button to load PVRX2 so I don't have to get up when PVRX2 crashes in order to restart it.
I was looking at the forums and the wiki and it seems like using HIP could do these things that I want to do with my remote, so I've been trying to set it up but I can't get it to communicate with the remote. I found the files here http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...eyMappings
but it isn't clear on how to set things up. Do I disable the hauppauge IR service? Any advice here would be awesome.
Also, if HIP isn't the best choice I'm open to suggestions for alternatives. Anything that works.
