So I guess you're aware the problem also infected the conflict list? Right now I have a huge list of conflicts for Mar 6. They are all the same weekly manual recording.

Will the erroneous failed recording and conflict entries go away when we upgrade to the next release? If not, is there a way to remove them?

No they wont go away, but no new ones will be created. You can either delete them in GB-PVR, or if you have lots then it may be easier to delete them in MS Access.

I have almost 2500 erroneous entries and GBPVR will not delete them even one by one. I guess I'm either looking for MSAccess or looking at a complete uninstall and then install the new version from scratch. Too bad it's not mysql.

There is probably other free tools you can download that will let you execute SQL on a .mdb file.

Its not worth me spending the time to write a oneoff program to do this.

Absolutely not. I hope you don't thinks I was asking for this. I just wanted to know my options. I appreciate your work and wouldn't ask for any one off work. After all, it's a "beta" and we have to expect bugs. I'm just glad you were able to find and correct the problem for the next release. Thanks.

yeah, definitely. We wouldn't ask you to do that. It's easy enough to uninstall and reinstall. Is a reboot necessary in between?

Another thing, though. I would hope that (in some future release) GBPVR would somehow keep track of mpg's it has created so when it finds them in Video Library dir's it puts them in the "Ready" list. Sorry, I know this is a subject for Wishlist, but having to uninstall/reinstall to fix the error lists means I won't have anything in my "Ready" list which is kind of a drag...I would hope it would discover files meta data (perhaps it should be stored there next to the file in a txt file just as the comskip txt is....perhaps it can be combined in the comskip file...?)

THANKS SUB!
