I'd like to purge my old recording entries without affecting my upcoming scheduled recordings. Is there a file I can delete to accomplish this ?

If you want to clear out the previously recorded entries, just move your MPGs to a different location, start GB-PVR and you'll see they're gone. You can always move them back again... (No, there's no button to do that -- I've never heard anyone wanting to do it on purpose -- not that that's a bad thing...)

I've deleted ALL of my recordings but GB still maintains the Recordings/Ready list. I choose Recordings/Ready from the PVRX2 main menu and up pops a huge list showing all sorts of recordings and the failed ones. As it stands I have to manually delete each entry in this list.

you must have disabled the check for missing recordings in the config file then

Yeah I was gonna say, GB-PVR should be removing entries for recordings no longer present. I have seen where it does not clear a failed mark though. If you have lots of those we could get a script together for you...

I was not aware of this option. I changed the option to a TRUE and it removed many of them. Still hundreds remain saying FAILED. Now do I have to remove the failed entries manually ?

THat's the script that I was talking about. Hang tight and I'll get it to you, or alternatively, PBS can scribble something down. I was gonna use this page and maybe you can do it yourself too... http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ht=sqlite3 It's a long thread, and some of the info at the beginning is off track. but it could tell you how to build a simple query.... (delete query) something like delete all status 6 in Recording Schedule....

Thanks for the help.

So if I am reading this correctly, if I move a recording out of the recordings directory it will get deleted if AutoRemoveMissingRecordings is true and if I move the file back to the recordings directory an entry for that file will be created? If yes, will that work with any file name or only a certain format?
