TV Listings and XmlTVExtras

Now that I read through this thread more, I'm also experiencing what ryanmc is seeing. I don't get the new on my guide either. I'm using yapi with xmltv enhancer. However, I'm not sure what the xmltv manager is. I believe I am also running it on epgupdate.bat

First of all UltraXMLTV Manager is currently being developed to be a one stop fix program so that we could fix problems like this. But it takes a bit to setup at the moment (Really want the wizard to start working) I would love for you to help get the required files to help me roll with punches and make the wizard more accurate, but for puropses of this thread I suggest not using it.

In your UpdateEPG.bat you should have references to your grabber and the Enhancer. You can manually run the UpdateEPG.bat to be sure it's working. If it doesn't fire up the grabber and then the enhancer, then you must fix that, or GB-PVR doesn't have a hope.

Next you need a reference to the xmltvextras program in PostUpdateEPG.bat. If it doesn't exist then create it.

Now to actually test this you will need to run through your whole update procedure. It's easy, just takes a while as GB-PVR runs through grabbing, enhancing, updating and then xmltvextra-ing your data. Just right click the tray icon and click Update EPG.

THat way xmltv will be run AFTER GB-PVR has updated and imorted the EPG data, and then TVListings will display the extra data.

PS. IN enhnacer, you MUST have video and audio set to do nothing and Premiere set to 'Create if New'...

The batch file part was correct but I didn't have the premiere, video, or audio parts correct. I corrected it, so let's see what happens tonight.

I was reading over the wiki and some other posts and saw i needed to use xmltvextras in my postepgupdate.bat file which i wasnt doing all is working now thanks for your time and nice work
