well i didn't plan on continuing work on "street"... i think that's finished...
but i am planning to make one or two versions of "blah" with different colours. the reason i did blue first is 'cause everybody can use it (very few people hate blue). where in contrast to that pink is a little bit more problematic...

Not to mention a teensy bit girlie....

Here's an interesting thought though, how many users of GBPVR are girls? If it's a lot, perhaps a pink skin would be highly desirable (I'm not meaning to be sexist here, but there aren't many 'blokes' that would by choice choose a pink skin for their most commonly used user interface).

I don't have any problems with blue. I honestly use a blue background on the street theme, makes the yellow stand out nicely. this new one is very nice though. i'll have to take a look at it when my wife isnt watching tv.

I've been playing around with some of the skinning. I've been trying to make one with a brushed aluminum gray backdrop with black & dark red buttons. I hope no one's disappointed this "girlie" isn't doing pink [Image: wink.gif]

I love the transparent look, though, and wanted to inquire how it's done. I looked through the Street skin, but wasn't real sure if it needs to be done with images or if it can be done with the drawRect, etc, directives. Thanks!

I have a black and gray skin in the works in addition to another blue skin that's almost finished.  I hope to have them ready for upload later this week.  First priority is figuring out that damn usbuirt and why my remote quits working after a while [Image: rock.gif]

Nice work Dimov!

Looks very sleek.  This should work well with my Xcard , assuming I can change the background and the transparency shows up ok.  Has anyone else using the Xcard tried this skin?  We could use some more "flat" skins.
