V1.2.9 where to start

Hi all I have been messing around with a few different MCE softwares but I keep coming back to GBPVR and I am running across my home network with great sucess. I quite like the interface but there are a few thing I would like that I don't seem to know quite where to find the answers I have searched around in the forums and tried diffferent things but still I am not quite there. I have downloaded version 1.2.9 just to clarify.

1. My remote works really well mce vista remote apart from the backspace command
   
2. what plugins apply to this version
   
3. I want photos to show in the thumbnails how do I do this
   
4. How do I enable the youtube plugin
   

there are more but I think the real problem is I am not sure is knowing what information to read that concerns this version.

2. From the main page for plugins on the WIKI, http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/Plugin#toc4, you can get a complete list of the plugins that have been verified to work with a particular version (i.e. 1.1.5). Because version 2.1.9 is so new, the list has not been completed. As far as I know, all the plugins that work with 1.1.5 still work with 2.1.9 and there may even be some new ones related to music.


4. From this post http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ht=youtube, the youtube plugin that is part of the main program is pretty much dead. This is because a change is needed to the plugin whenever a change is made to the youtube webpage and that requires someone who is willing and able to monitor and make changes. However, this post, http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ht=youtube seems to suggest that ubustream plugin might give access to youtube videos.

I can't help with (1) because I don't have an mce remote and I am not at home so I can't check out how to get thumbnail photos for 3. To the best of my recollection, thumbnails is my default so I will check it out tomorrow (about 30 hours from now) unless someone else can help

For #3 try using the mode button on the left hand side of the Photo Library screen.

I want the main folder icons to have a pic because on mine there is no pic in the main folder icon in picture library

If there is folder.jpg/folder.png file in a directory then it'll be shown on the folder.
