New Skin: BlueMCE2

well, since i use the bluemce2-skin i could take it over. i was just waiting for a "final" release of myVideos and i am very busy with learning for uni at the moment, so if you could just wait a few days....

my bluemce2-version will have support for the my-series and working panels. more plugins may be supported, if they are more skinnable in the future.

there will never ever ever be a final release of my videos, well its kinda final now, but will always be maintained, updated, improved, just the way i do things.

i know, therefore i wrote "final" -> you made huge skin-changes in the last version, which means, that the myVideos-skin-file has to be totally updatet. it was a good idea to introduce composite-images for the buttons. will myPrograms and myMusic be changed the same way?

yeah when i next update my music/pics/programs ill update them the same way, but i wont just update them for the sake of this, if i add a feature ill do it aswell (also add the ability to on/off the menu buttons and their order etc). just slowly update as i go along.

ok, guys, i had some spare time and modified the bluemce2-skin to fit the new myVideos-plugin. you can download it right here: bluemce2.zip.

i also changed the myprograms-task-image and changed the music-panel, it works again. that's all, other plugins will be coming when i have more time and when they are much more skinable. a few minutes ago i noticed an ugly screen when adding movie-information and displaying them. i will fix this in the next days.

by the way, i would like to change the description and files on the wiki concerning this skin, but i don't know how to get access. can someone help me?

in skinning the myVideos-plugin i found an error: i added a pin to a directory. everything was working. then, i deleted the virtual root and added another one. everything was working. then i wanted to add a pin to a directory and got a "unknown error" - error after setting the pin (i was typing the master pin, then the pin and then the plugin exited). i looked at the logfiles and noticed an error with the database connection. so i opened the myDatabase.mdb, deleted the old pin from the directory, which wasn't in the virtual root any more and everything was fine again.

probably there is a problem, when the plugin trys to identify the directories/files which have a pin in the database but don't exist in the virtual root...

Just a note of thanks to dottore for taking this on.  

This is the skin I use and like very much.  It gives GBPVR a cool look to it even if it is copied it from MP.  My only wish is that xrecord could be skinned to it.
