Problem with TS files audio sync

okay, I'm open to suggestions as to how to install the patch. I thought it would just be a matter of copying it into the gbpvr directory and then registering the filter. If not, then what should I do. What should the log say?

Try the attached patch then post the logs. It's no different than before, but adds a couple of log messages to help me see why it made a particular decision.

weird. it asked me for a password when extracting the file.

Forget the password thing, it thought the file was read only because I still had the service and tray still running.

Anyway, copied the new dll in and all I get now is a black screen and an application hang. The log file looks much the same.

Thanks for the help so far. I have to knock off for the night and revisit tomorrow now. hope you have something to go on in the meantime.

I just wanted to add as well.
I had this exact problem. The Audio was out of sync by many seconds. After applying the patch and the config.xml change, I have A/V back in sync.
This may be something to add to the survival guide...

Sub, with this patch will we back to the pre-1.2.9 problem of not being able to watch in-progress recordings?

I too see the audio get out of sync playing TS files in 1.2.9, though I noticed skipping forward and back a little would sometimes fix it. Whatever the case, it is so annoying that I went back to dvr-ms format.

Completed recordings should play as good as they ever have with previous builds (using TS source of your choice). With any luck it should still be able to play in-progress recordings, but they'll likely still have the sync problem.
