Video on some but not all

I am new to this software... i have gotten the channel search and guide setup, but i am only getting Video on a coulpe channels, other channels give me just audio or nothing. I have installed every codec i can find. I am trying to use this build for Clear QAM. I have used the TV Pro software that came with the tuner card, and i have great sucess veiwing HD (QAM) but didn't like the recording or the interface.. so far i love what i see with GBPVR, now i just need to see more

I'll offer my standard "try Gabest MPV" video decoder if you haven't already.

If nothing else, see if there's a connection between what channels work and what ones don't. Maybe they're all 720p instead of 1080i, etc. It's hard to remember now, but I think I was getting a black screen when I turned off or on (I forget) hardware acceleration on my 2400pro and when using it with PDVD7. But I wouldn't get a black screen on SDTV channels, only HDTV channels. Weird stuff like that can happen.

That's for the audio-only channels with a black picture. If you're not getting ANYTHING on certain channels, that may be harder to figure out. Just for kicks, have you tried GBPVR in overlay/VMR mode? (whatever setting you're not currently using.) You can set it in Config.

Thanks for the suggestions.. i am using an AMD Athlon 3800+, and i put in a AMD Athlon X2 3800+ and got the same issues... i will try your suggestion tonite and let u know, thanx again!

I have installed every codec i can find.

This is generally a bad move. Conflicts between codecs reign supreme in most peoples problems. The more you have, the worse it gets.

I removed them as i installed others.. then i ran a cleaner to get mess cleasned up...

It seems i am having issues with HD broadcast.. the channels i am getting audio and video would be the digital weather from local station (wgal) and cbs local but only ehanced def, not HD... the channels that i can get audio and no video are definitly broadcasting in HD
