ok heres a newer version:

fixed
- ok on file with no info, actually uses best effort method now (so same as pushing red).
- everytime you exit my videos, it actually saves the directoryview xml file (the file that remembers each view for every directory).
- folders are sorted by their relative names, so .link folders are correctly sorted.
- speed up the loading of my videos on the first load (takes gbpvr about 1-2seconds longer to load, but once its done, its all good ).
- fixed some other stuff that i forgot about.

ok if no one finds any bugs in this version ill probably release it again as 2.2.0.0

ok known bugs in version 2.1.99.8, fixed for next version

- if you enter info screen on a file then press side it will allow you to view the infoscreen for any file type that has a entry in the database (ie for folder/hdds/parent directories).
- in details mode parent directories items are allowed to show descriptions.
- when you look up info for a single video/dvd/iso in any mode (eg via the red button/onscreen keyboard/best effort) it will take you to the info screen if info was found.

update: yeah im planning on changing the skin.xml and the database, sorry guys, but adding a really really cool feature. i will release a beta here before i do the final version so hopefully that will give you a few days to update the skins.

ok i found another nasty bug, if you are in the have more than say 6 videos in alist, with no folders in that drive (only tested with no folders) and you scroll (not page down) to the last item when in the preview view and you press ok (or enter the info screen) on that item and then push right, taking you to the first item, then hit back/escape it caused gbpvr to crash (have a go and see, very fun stuff). well thats fixed. just thought you like to no, so no one reports a bug that is fixed (also im not sure how this will react since the version available will show info for parent folders aswell in the infoscreen).

ps i want to iron out most of the bugs in this version before it goes to 2.2.0.0, so test to your hearts desire, also if you want me to add any more features let me know (nothing major thou, and no not the popup menu layout in the config form (the actual controls in the form are a nightmare, visual studio doesnt provide a nice treeview (the thing sub uses for the plugins laylout/which ones you want to use etc) you have to add a lot of code to get it to work, ill add this later).

- added "@Filesize" to available params for the composite images for the info screen.

heres a basic preview of the "Actors" feature which will be added to 2.2.0.0 (or around 2.1.99.40) i just grab info for "Batman" and heres the actors info, this works by looking up every single actor found in the database, then listing all of them which have at least one or more online movie (the number is displayed in list view where the file size usually is).

when you click on an actor you are taken to an "Actor Info Screen" (similar to the "Info Screen&quot option will be (havent written it yet) Bio and Movies, movies will show you a list of their available movies (still in info screen kinda look, but with a filelist aswell, ie will still be able to show a picture of them), then just browse around their movies as you usually would, click ok on a movie will take you to the info screen of that movie, back will take you back to the actors movie list, you will click the "Actors" button on the side to return to the filelist (i will change the name to "Filelist&quot.

ive done most of the hardwork, setting up the database (yes i had to redo it). i have to add a few more things to the skin (yes more skin changes, but oh well, its a cool feature). so far ive only made it possible to add actors via the imdb code, since its the best source of info, amazon doesnt have enought, nor does ofdb or anyof the others.

questions? comments? suggestions? let me know. hopefully a beta will be out in a couple of days.

maybe a bug don't know, looking up information such as poster or details seems to lockup gbpvr??Could be my connection??Anyone else having this problem?

i might have to throw the lookups all onto seperate threads, since they can take awhile, which i think is causing the mvp problem.

mate reven alittle advice here would be was to take out the yellow overlay ontop of the blue grandit, either use grey or lightgrey instead my graduke "mrfreelines" wanted yee to add two programmes pixy and vidy, but yer think yee has some kool programmes already, yee just have to pull out the bugs as yee is learning to do now

well yeah on the mvp also on my pc..If i do ctrl-r i have no problems. The new feature you added here at ctrl-r is excellent..Want is current used for the scan.
