may i ask one ore question. I do want it to record before playing due to the delay. As far as my knowledge under misc i have to enable Live Preview Mode and select Return from timeshift mode on channel change. Am i right

GB-PVR is an app designed around the EPG, which is used for recording shows, viewing the TV Guide, managing recordings etc.

Its sounds like you just after a simple TV viewing app that just shows a video window of whatever your dish set top box is outputting. If thats the case, then GB-PVR isnt the right type of app for you.

well for this pc i needed it a basic setup. However for my lcd panel connected to media center i am going to use this with all those PVR features . I am testing it for the first time.
