PVRX2 recording wrong capture source

Hi,

I have a wintv mce 500 capture card and have tuner 1 and tuner 2 set and use the svideo to capture satellite.

tuner 1 - board 1
tuner 2 - board 2
svideo in - board 2
configured in PVRX2

all guide data is set appropriately and today I found that it recorded the wrong info,

tuner 1 supposed to record "live with regis"
tuner 2 svideo - supposed to record - "the woods"

here is what it really did....
file named "the woods" is actually "live with regis"
file named "Live with Regis" zero k file size

just curious if I should drop tuner number 2 from config and just use tuner 1 and svideo?

it never recorded reliably in the past but was mostly working good80% of the time.

any ideas?

Post the logs and the full details about what should of happened (channel, time etc) and I'll take a look.

any particular log you want? PVRX2.exe or more?

Capture device number 1 - tuner 1 - cable tv - live with regis 3/20/2008 9am - 10am
Capture device number 2 - tuner number 2 - not in use
Capture device number 2 - Svideo - Satellite - the woods(2005) 3/20/2008 9am - 10:35am

I only have 1 capture card for the above inputs

Looking at your logs, it looked like it tried to start the recordings in the capture sources specified, but the device numbers are set wrong. It looked like both the first and third capture source set set to device #2

I will stop my recordings and open config and have a look

here is my current untouched setup in config as checked now.

capture source 1 - tuner 1
capture source 2 - tuner 2
capture source 2 - svideo

by theory anything on cable should auto go to capture source number one first if no tuners are in use.

svideo should always go to capture source number 2 since it has it's own guide.

If the channels in that guide have the same ids as the channels in the guide for the tuner, then GB-PVR considers both tuners to be able to get the same channel.
